About Flower Boy
My name is Mark Adam Enger and I am FlowerBoy!
I was born in Aurora, IL and grew up in several small
towns in Minnesota. As a flight attendant for TWA from 1983
to 1997, I traveled the world learning about different
cultures, customs and the various plants and flowers that
made each of these places different and beautiful. I lived
in Dallas, Kansas City and New York and moved to West Palm
Beach, FL in 1996 and have been here ever since.
Since I was a child I loved nature. Living in the Midwest, I
was privy to the beautiful four-seasons, all having their
unique take on nature and offering glimpses into what each
offered in terms of flora and fauna. Despite living here in
Florida, Autumn is still my favorite time of year. With all
the beautiful colors associated with this season, Autumn
inspires me the most.
My childhood was rich with many colorful and wonderful
memories. My family has always been important to me. My
parents, brothers and sisters and especially my Grandfather,
who was a remarkable and respected man in the community,
were my mentors. This added to my soul and heart and
everlasting love of the world around me, which I still carry
to this day.
A caring person, I have always been able to help others less
fortunate than myself in my local community. I was involved,
in a voluntary capacity, in several projects here in West
Palm Beach. I have excellent communication skills, written,
oral and using electronic communication.
I began a serious interest in flower arranging about six
years ago, and after friends and family saw some of my
floral creations at my home the word spread and has lead to
floral accounts with some exclusive residents in Palm Beach.
My favorite hobbies and interests are: flower arranging,
gardening, floral art, cooking, walking, photography,
traveling, surfing the internet, listening to music, and
caring for the environment. I always believe that God gave
us many things in life to enjoy and to be thankful for those
gifts.
